Emancipation Day 2015 was celebrated in Trinidad and Tobago on 1st August 2015. It is observed annually as a public holiday and celebrates the freedom of African slaves who had been brought to work on the plantations. In commemoration of Emncipation Day 2015, the Emancipation Support Committee hosted several events both on and prior to the day. Paradise Pulse is pleased to present a photo gallery of these events.
